THE WHITES
 
Rocheburg Chenin Blanc (South Africa)
A good example of South Africa's classic grape, an abundance of tropical & citrus fruits, this fresh, dry white is excellent everyday drinking.
 
Boonaburra Chardonnay (Australia)
This full-flavoured yet soft & elegant Australian white is straw in colour with the aroma of peaches & apricots.
 
Mezzora Pinot Grigio Gargamega (Italy)
Produced from grapes grown in the beautiful hills north of Verona. Flavours of pears and summer peaches give a dry, fresh & stylish wine.
 
Anuela Sauvignon Blanc 'Casablanca Valley' (Chile)
Just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, the Casablanca Valley produces some of the very best Chilean Sauvignon. The intense aromas of fresh herb & apple, together with the flavour of exotic fruits and ripe pineapple make this a smooth, lively and distinctively zesty wine.
 
Macon Blanc Lugny 'Les Charmes' (France)
Produced in the heart of Burgundy from Chardonnay grapes grown in limestone hills near Macon. Fresh full-flavoured with a lingering finish.
 
Sancerre 2006 Clos des Bouffants (France)
Dry, fresh and well-balanced, this full-flavoured attractive wine is a constant favourite. A superb compliment to any fish dish.

 
THE REDS
 
Vegal del Castillo 'Tempranillo' (Spain)
An iconic Spanish red grape better-known in the making of quality Riojas. Here it produces a full-flavoured, well-balanced wine, with the aroma & flavour of ripe berries, and a hint of violet.
 
Cornellana Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile)
This smooth, fruit-packed wine has intense berry-fruit flavours with hints of cherries and cassis, coming from 'La Rosa', family-owned since 1824.
 
Boonaburra Shiraz Cabernet (Australia)
Aromas of vanilla, cherry and ripe plums, this classic Australian red has the flavour of summer berries and just a hint of oak.
 
Cotes du Ventoux 'Jerome Quiot' (France)
Stunning red from the Southern Rhone, big full-flavoured yet with a soft, round, elegant finish.
 
Anuela Merlot 'Colchagua Valley' (Chile)
From vineywards situated between the Andes and the Pacific, this hand-picked Merlot has the aromas of plum and fresh mulberries. Soft and elegant with the flavours of ripe berry-fruits, and just a hint of vanilla from its time in the barrel.
 
Rioja El Coto 'Crianza' (Spain)
A quality oak-aged wine from Northern Spain's best Bodega. Distinctive with the flavours of ripe red berries and a hint of vanilla having spent some time in new oak casks.
 
Fleurie 2006 Domaine de la Bouroniere (France)
One of the most popular of the ten individual Beaujolais villages, this medium-bodied wine has an intense raspberry-fruit flavour and delivers excellent quality. Try it slightly chilled.

Sutter Home White Zinfandel 'Blush' 2006 (USA)
Stylish medium dry wine from one of the better 'Napa Valley' producers, known as 'blush' wine having been left in contact with the red grape skins. A delicious apertif.
 
Peter Lehmann Weighbridge Rose 2007 (Australia)
Vibrant fuschia-pink in colour, this enticing rose is 100% cabernet sauvignon, making the wine sing with the flavour of freshly-picked summer berries, giving a superb clean finish.
