OVERVIEW

Tucked away in the ancient leafy village of Etchinghill (the Saxon name for 'the hill with the babbling brook'), The New Inn is

a cosy, timber-framed, pub & restaurant. The building dates

back to the 16th century, and these days the inn has a fine reputation for superb cuisine,

serving gourmet food, real ale,

bar snacks, coffees and traditional pub grub.

With a lovely beer garden for the summer months, The New Inn is within putting-distance of Pentland golf club, a few minutes from the Channel Tunnel terminal and Folkestone Rugby Club, a 10-minute drive from Ashford International

rail terminal, and 20-minutes from the Dover ferry ports.

With dedicated staff and

attentive service, we strive to make this corner of Kent feel like

a home-from-home.

The atmosphere is welcoming,

the cuisine mouth-watering, and the traditional ale thirst-

quenching. The two large fireplaces make for a relaxing dinner on a chilly evening.

Proprietor Kevin Johnson is an expert in real ale and prides himself on the quality of his traditional hand-pulled beers.

As a result, the guest ales at The New Inn are perfectly presented and taste superb.
